Happy Birthday, Gary & Toontown!

January 24, 1941 - American author, Vietnam War veteran and The Hugo Awards winner, Gary K. Wolf, is born in Earlville, Illinois. He is best known as the creator of Roger Rabbit and Mickey's Toontown. I am both proud and honored to call him my friend. Have a hare-raising birthday, Gary!

January 24, 1993 - Mickey's Toontown opens its gates to Disneyland guests with a grand opening celebration. It's also no coincidence that this happened on Gary K. Wolf's birthday. Robert and I are the lucky owners of Gary's VIP "Creator" badge and press kit.
