30 years ago, #OTD, May 25, 1990 - #TheWitches, directed by Nicolas Roeg, produced by The Jim Henson Company, and starring Anjelica Huston, Mai Zetterling, Rowan Atkinson, Jane Horrocks, Jim Carter OBE, Bill Patterson, Brenda Blethyn, Charlie Potter and Jasen Fisher, has its UK theatrical premiere. Based on Roald Dahl’s children’s novel of the same name with illustrations by Quentin Blake, the film was very well received by critics. 🐁 #TheWitches30
