#OTD, December 19, 1843 - #CharlesDickens’ novella #AChristmasCarol. In Prose. Being a Ghost Story of Christmas, is published in London by Chapman & Hall and illustrated by John Leech. The first edition sold out by Christmas Eve and by the end of 1844 thirteen editions had been released.
