“Joshua”, the seventh solo studio album by Dolly Parton, was released 50 years ago, OTD, April 12, 1971, by RCA Victor. The album's same-titled single was nominated for a Grammy and was Parton's first number one on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. Dolly also sang the chorus to me when I met her in 2010.
